The power of lithium + clean energy combined
Controlled Thermal Resources is in the advanced stages of developing a battery-grade lithium production facility - Hell’s Kitchen Lithium Co. and a renewable energy power plant - Hell’s Kitchen Power Co. located in Imperial Valley, California. These world-scale facilities will set new environmental standards for the delivery of battery-grade lithium products and base-load, renewable power in a secure U.S. location.
Hell’s Kitchen Lithium will produce 15,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent per annum in Stage 1 and will total 75,000 TPA in future stages .
Hell’s Kitchen Power will produce 49.9 megawatts of renewable energy per annum from a geothermal power plant in Stage 1.
Lithium demand is expected to increase exponentially with critical minerals supply shortfalls forecast as early as 2023.
Delivery of the first 15,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium and 49.9 megawatt power supply is expected in 2023.
